Photo Reference Images for practicing Illustration
Photographs of still life and travels I've taken. They can be useful for art, design, and illustration reference.

I take a lot of pictures when I travel, and I have them sitting there in the hard drive. I'm the kind of illustrator that needs a reference image to draw something, mostly when I've not drawn in a while, because life get's occupied.
So I figured I could share some of these images with you to have as reference images...mostly so you don't get too distracted with the Pinterest stuff.
As a reflection: I hope you don't compare yourself to anyone. Let the pencil flow and remember to observe the image. Your drawing doesn't have to match the photo; exercise your eye, sharpen your observation, and let your creativity flow. Make mistakes and don't get upset when they happen; just take a moment to observe the mistake and maybe... see that it was a "happy accident" and come up with a fun solution.
When you find yourself in trouble, think "What would Bob Ross do?" 🙂
About the picture
I took this photograph in Mexico City at a café called Babuin Café, a small and very colorful place. It has a very illustrative and fun visual identity. These water bottles can be seen on every little table, and the Cold Brew is very good, especially for hot days. The food is also very delicious.
I ordered some molletes (bread cut in half, spread with refried beans and melted chees, topped with pico de gallo or Mexican salsa). The bread in particular is filling and artisanal.
