About Irma
Today damstuff.com is home to my artwork only, but I still share my digital illustrations and my crazy world in there.
Before Illustration became my full-time focus, I worked in UX/UI design and project management in the mornings to fund and work on Damn Stuff at night. This background has made my workflow very systematic, always aiming to understand the vision, needs, and the audience of my clients. I may draw like a child running wild, but I’m very analytical and strategic as a businessman.
Off the clock — I run on coffee, longboard rides, and way too many movie nights.

Hola, I'm Irma Díaz.
I’m a self-taught illustrator and designer from Mexico, now living and drawing in Munich. I make freehand digital illustrations for creative businesses and food & lifestyle brands.
In 2017, I started Damn Stuff, a project where I practiced my illustration and design by making streetwear and stickers with screen printing for the BMX community. This project led me to create and sponsor events and give courses. This also became the way most of my clients found me. From Branding to murals and website illustration, all came from people who saw Damn Stuff and wanted that energy for their own.

I always feel new to illustration, new to every adventure, new to every new day, and I think that’s cool.
I am new to freelancing, but not new to trying; this might be my fifth attempt and my first in a new country, one that’s not my own, but the one that holds my new home and my new family.
I cannot show you 10 pages of my former experience in illustration; I could attempt to show you all the sketchbooks I've filled in those 10 years, and I can tell you I've gained experience working on marketing, UXUI design, and project management while I was working to financing my Art project, damnstuff.com
Overall, I have 15+ years of working with peers, clients, friends, and family, so I know something from experience: to love, work, respect one another, and to have fun.
If you decide to work with me, you’d be giving me the opportunity and honor to serve you in a new way, for me to progress in my illustration journey, in new ways to have fun, and in making new experiences with you.
Thank you.
Love,
Irma
